A hands on cooking workshop demonstration with The Travelling Table’s Nonnas from the Madonna Dei Martiri Molfetta Club in Adelaide and Matteo Giordano - chef and owner of Pane e Latte. The key focus of this workshop will be how to make the favourite Molfetese comfort food "U Tridd" and starter "Co’coze."
U Tridd is a delicious shin soup filled with handmade semolina and parsley pasta dried and torn in to rough fingernail sized pieces. The soup is often topped with finely grated Parmesan or Romano cheese for an extra burst of flavour. Co’coze is a familiar and easy to make zuchinni fritter that is a perfect starter to any Italian meal. Following the cooking demonstration everyone gets to enjoy a plate of U Tridd and Co'coze!
